When Claude Code or Codex wants to run a command, it drops down with Approve and Deny. Claude and ChatGPT plan limits can sit beside the notch, with their reset times.
The notch shows today's revenue and how it compares with yesterday at the same time. When a new customer pays, it drops down to tell you.
Drag a photo onto the notch to turn it into a JPEG, or two PDFs to merge them. Videos can be shrunk or made into a GIF the same way.
A project you watch shows its build, then production, with the time left. If a build fails, you can redeploy it from the notch.

Most notch apps show what's playing and hold files you drop on them, and Blipbar does both. It's mostly for the things you keep checking, like AI usage or a deploy, and anyone can build an integration for something new.

Yes. Everything that runs on your Mac is free, and nothing free now will become paid. Later I'll add a paid plan for things that need a server, like keeping two Macs in sync.
Into the Mac's Keychain. Blipbar talks to services like Stripe and GitHub straight from your Mac, and there's no account to make.
It shouldn't. At rest, Blipbar and its extensions use about a fifth of a percent of one CPU core.
